The Online Access Centres can help the small businesses in the Dorset Munincipality learn about techniques to improve their business practices by using their computer to gain proficiency in business operations.

Assistance can be given to businesses by having one-to-one training or sessions at the Online Access Centres.

Courses can be designed to specifically meet the needs of small businesses. The staff are available to conduct courses in other locations as well.

The Online Centres can assist in the development of e-commerce projects with local businesses aiming to help small business owners use Information Technology to increase turnover in their business by using e-commerce principles.
Projects will assist business owners to ‘get on-line’, communicate through e-mail and have a Web presence through the Online Access Centre Web site or their own web site.
